2011 was final year

I have decided to call it Quits for Pete’s trail of lights. Yes…a few tears are happening to write this…darn wine! I have hopefully brought smiles, laughter, memories, a few cries, splendor, and speechless moments into many folks/kids/babies worlds.  For the Ten years I have lived in Circle C, eight were spent with an evolving trail of lights. Each year via my OCD, the trail grew. I could not wait to buy all the sales stuff and come up with crazy ideas for the next year. Staying outdoors until 2 or 3am without a game plan while listing to Ghostland was so awesome!  From my crazy UFO built from papasan chairs, to the Tasmanian Devil sitting on a toilet, the pleasure was all mine.

This past year, I had nothing left. The weather keeps me up all night because the inflatables must remain blown up during rain events not to mention being tied down to my house for 2.5 plus months. The cost was 8-10k per year and worth every penny. I am so going to miss it I just having nothing left in my tank. Thank you for all your support especially for the homeless donations. I am truly all about giving and helping others. I have a huge void to fill and right now I am a pretty sad dude. Hugs…and thank you for all the love and support.

January 1st 2012 Final night....

A mere 11 months away from firing up the trail of lights for 2012.
Yes I have been crazy busy with seeking out deals for new LED lights, props and new items in general.
This will be our final night of this season.
Happy new year!
